Just a note to confirm the times needed for A rank, since Claire B in particular is wrong on some guides:

 

Claire A: under 6 mins, 10 seconds.

Claire B: under 9 mins. [Complete Claire A to unlock]

Chris: under 6 mins, 30 seconds.

Steve: under 10 mins. [Get Gold Luger replicas from main game and finish game with them in an item box or on you to unlock]

Wesker: under 1 hour. [Complete Chris to unlock]

 

Unlike the PS4 versions where slowdown is a real issue, particularly on the EU one, it’s not a problem here. Claire A is the tightest for time but even with mistakes I did it within a few seconds. Chris relies on herding the boss into a corner. Wesker you just need to keep your health topped up and take it slowly. The other two are easy enough. Few practice runs and you’ll have them done or be pretty close.

 

Edit: one extra tip for Claire B. Use normal grenades or fire grenades throughout, then switch to machine gun on last bandersnatch room before the boss and keep them for the boss. Keep moving to not get knocked off. Don’t bother with the bonus room for any character except Wesker.
