Protect The Herd Issue

I have tried for this trophy about 5-6 times now and cant for the life of me get it to pop.

 

I’ve done the first few missions over and over with no civilian deaths and the requirements just aren’t acknowledging that i’ve done it.

 

So tedious. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a work around? It doesn’t help that the game is poor

Done! Basically if after completing the game and you start a new one using a new game slot, the game will go off any civilian kills registered via your original save file. So I backed up my save, deleted it off the system and started a brand new game and it popped after the first mission.
