Collectibles I have collected are showing on chapter select as not collected

So I want to come back to last of us 2 after completing the story back in june. I got a majority of the collectibles only to find out afterwards on chapter select they were wiped out for a majority of the chapters. I contacted naughty dog about it in june and they didnt know what to do. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem with their collectibles and found a fix for this. I have not started a new game yet and still have my save for the ending of the game.

I started a NG+ Permadeath to get the remaining collectibles and I am in the same case, it does not show in game the ones I got in my previous game. It is not big deal as I am going to collect everything to be sure not missing something but it would have been great to see what I already have.
