I know it sounds stupid but hear me out.

 

I recently got PAYDAY 2 from the 12 days of deals and went onto the forums, now granted there's a lot of people asking about mics who are too stupid to make a gaming session, so anyway I decided to look at the forum for any potential glitches... lo-and-behold I see two topics asking for gamers with mics so I've decided to ask for this feature:

 

A topic that always stays at the top of the game people are looking at where people can post what the need to (Eg. Payday 2: PSN ID, Mic/no mic, Level) it'd save a lot of trouble with topics from forum newbies and may be a way for people to connect with the players that they specifically want to for the game session they're going for.

Sounds like you're asking for a Boosting thread, pinned at the top of a game's forum.

 

I know on other sites there are "Official" boosting threads. The official part would perhaps be the format of the OP, as you've suggested, to ensure some form of consistency in the posts that follow.

On reflection, isn't this whole idea of game-specific boosting threads in the forums redundant given we have Gaming Sessions? Just drop a message into your session stating the requirements.

I'd have to agree with ant1 - in fact I've seen several gaming sessions where it was already stated that the users must have mics
