How to unlock 100%

There are 5 trophies in total:

1. Record Score
2. Mark High Score
3. Score 1, 000,000 points
4. Score 2, 000,000 points
5. Score 3, 000,000 points
6. Hi score player

Note: Trophy 1. (Record Score) and Trophy 2 (Mark High Score) will require that you select from the main menu 'Shock Troopers 2nd Squad Original Mode'.
Step 1: Select 'Shock Troopers 2nd Squad Original Mode'.
Step 2: From the games main intro, you can press the touchpad on your controller to open the menu.
Step 3: From the menu, set game difficulty to '1'. A higher difficulty will not be required. The game will inform you that a reset is required.
The game will ask you if you wish to continue? Press X to confirm the changes.
Step 4: Press start to play and when your character rolls onto screen, press the touchpad and enter the in-game menu. Tip: I recommend selecting 'Lion Heart Leon' for damage and defence.
Step 5: At the top of the menu will be the option that you can select called 'Create Interrupt Save' (This is the manual save function)
Step 6: Make a save by pressing X to confirm.
Step 7: Now play the game and destroy as many enemies and collect as many pick-ups as you possibly can.

Collectables in this game include: 1) Gold Medals 2) Gold Bars 3) Gold trophies 4) Silver dog-tags 5) Rare drops found only via melee kills - to melee kill press square within a close proximity to an enemy.

Note: You can also rescue soldiers who wave white flags by walking into them. However, caution is important, since there is both a real and a fake rescue soldier. The real rescue soldier will be an attractive blonde woman and the fake rescue soldier will be a cyborg who will detonate beside you with in-quotes the words "Go To Hell" causing significant damage.
Step 8: Save regularly in smaller increments depending on how well you frequently destroy enemies. Reload your save if you play badly.
Step 9: It is imperative that you do not die while accumulating your score. So it is important that when you do, you press the touchpad and select the option 'Back to title screen' and select 'Original mode' again from the title screen, for this will return you to your last save. (Also: You can collect the letters for the word H-E-A-R-T from random drops via enemies to gain bonus points)

Important note 1: Each Level will run for 99 seconds but when you reach a boss, the clock will reset to 44, 66 or 99 depending on the boss. Both the level time and Boss time are calculated into your score.

Important note 2: Press triangle to jump/dodge. This will create an invincibility frame. If you are familiar with 'Dark Souls' the video game, the principal is the same. 
Important note 3: Tanks do significantly more damage if you hold square and charge your attacks.

Important note 4: The safest part of the game to allow yourself up to 2 deaths without saving until after the 2 deaths, would be during the dio international corp fight in the 4th level. You should have reached roughly 2.7 million points by this point in the game before the final mission. Great tip is to shoot the conifer bushes during this boss fight, since they are very likely to drop gold collectables.

(Also: Do not use P2. When you enter a P2 into the game and die, the score will reset. Play solo)

When you reach 3, 000,000 points, all 3 trophies (3. Score 1, 000,000 points 4. Score 2, 000,000 points 5. Score 3, 000,000 points) will pop in game, you can end the gameplay here and walk into bullets if you want to. The game will now ask you if you want to continue and will give you 10 seconds. Simply wait until the timer runs out and you will be directed to a final score card. The game will then proceed to ask you if you want to post your score online. Press X to say 'Yes' and both trophies (1. Record Score 2. Mark High Score) will pop.

For trophy no.6 (Hi score player) you must return to the main menu and select 'Hi score mode' and keep in mind that you must not press the touchpad when you play this mode for this will end the run and end your high score. You must score 500 000. This should be relatively easy since you can achieve this by completing the first level. You can safely die in the first level. When you reach the second level, you can end your final life and the game will end the round and ask you if you wish to upload your hi score. Select 'Yes' by pressing X and the trophy will pop.
