Club World Bug?

I talked to the seed guy.  Talked to the aqua-colored character that wants to get in.  They ask me to distract the seed guy.  Talked to the seed guy again.  Nothing happens.  He just keeps repeating his dialogue about getting a new job over and over again.  No matter how many times I talk to both characters, the animation for the aqua-colored character sneaking in doesn't trigger. 

I've read a few guides just to confirm that this is what I'm supposed to do, and as far as I can tell, I've done everything else I'm supposed to do up to this point.  So I'm not sure what's wrong here.  Has anyone else had trouble with this?  What could I possibly be missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated!  I'm so close to finishing the game. 

 

Edit:

It should also be noted that my bullet trophy hasn't popped yet, presumably because I've gotten that bug that swaps the order of the bullet and bus pass trophies, so hopefully, if I can get past this nonsense, the bullet trophy will finally pop when I get the bus pass in the bathroom.

Same happened to me, UK PS5 game version. Bullet trophy came the right way.

I've tried a lot, but the guard speech didint change.

Needed to delete save, reinstall the game and start from scratch.
