What happens if I buy the physical copy of the japanese version?

Im new with buying foreign games to get their trophies so I was wondering... Can I buy the physical copy of the japanese version and still get the japanese trophy list? I know I can buy the digital version but im more comfortable buying physical copies of games.

I was able to buy a Japanese copy of Subnautica and I was able to get the Japanese Trophy list.
