[Solved] Frozen in Temple of the Crystal Eye

Playing digital version of the GoW Collection on Vita. I finally finished the awful trials after putting the game down for almost a year and am now trying to do the speed run.

 

In two separate attempts, I am encountering a glitch where the game freezes at the same spot. After aligning the rings in Pandora's temple I am triggering the eye and... Nothing happens. Kratos cannot move but no cutscenes triggers. I can access the menus, restart checkpoint, etc., but can't advance.

 

I've tried restarting the games restarting the vita, and I'm redownloading now.

 

Anyone else encounter this or have a suggestion?

 

Edit: Thankfully reinstalling took care of it.
