FluffyAssassin64 Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Hey everyone; just thought I'd post what seems to be a fix/workaround for the freezing glitch that sometimes happens during the mission set by Torn to collect Homing Beacons in the district with the jet-board stadium. The issue that I (and maybe some of you or others) had been experiencing was a complete console freeze when the last beacon was collected (requiring a hard reset of the console and a relaunching of the game). I tried 3 times yesterday collecting the beacons in a different order, etc. etc. but nothing worked. However, today I tried using one of the 'car' vehicles, AND NOT A ZOOMER VARIETY. When I completed the mission like this; it was all fine (no freezing issues). Hopefully this helps anyone out there struggling with this freezing problem. SaviorMercenary Posted October 23, 2017 Share Posted October 23, 2017 If you play the PS3 version you can just uninstall and then install the game (or game files if it is the disc version) preserving the save file.
