Bug: Control Type C?

Anyone else experiencing a bug with Control Type C that resurfaces every 30 minutes or so?

 

Usually L1 would cast the Special/Magic. After a period of time playing L1 will simultaneously try to Omnipresence me back to the Camp at the same time as it is trying to shoot the Special. So, essentially, I can't use a Special until I hit Start Menu > Settings > Controls > switch to Type A > switch back to Type C.

 

It's like pressing L1 makes it do two commands instead of one. I think I went through 5 or 6 dungeons not being able to use my Special before I figured out how to fix it.

 

Not sure if this problem happens with Control Type A or B, but definitely happens with Type C.
