My Lumberers should be fired - Godfrey and Terry

I've been following them for wo days (physically) and all they do is nap, fish, and look at wagons... I'm stuck on 2/3 records recorded to finish the encyclopedia of the common man trophy and I don't know how to get them to break this cycle. 

 

I fast travel to Boston and back and they're still doing that, I wait all day and night and they start the day fishing or napping. 

 

So frustrating.

 

Any tips to help me get them to reset and do the task I need?

After spending countless hours and fast travels I finally decided to try the one thing I hadn't (honestly not sure why I didn't think of this before).

 

I quit the game, closed it our and restarted it. As soon as I restarted the game it started me right in front of Terry chopping wood and that counted as an activity and I can finally put this trophy to bed.
