[HELP] How to Drop objects

Finally found the answer on devs Twitter. You only press a button to pick. If you hold the button, it throws. That's why the prompt to drop or deliver wasn't working.

5 minutes in and I'm already ranting about this game.

 

This game has 20+ languages for the menu to choose from, but it doesn't have a fucking controller panel to check how to play this shit.

 

5 minutes in and my character is already tired I have to make a fire camp. All materials are around me, but the only option after grabbing them is "throw". So when I'm trying to drop something in place, he throw the object to the shit, I'll grab it, try another button, he throws it again. I had no problem leaving the plant in the boat in the correct position, but after removing it, I couldn't even put it down in the same position, he always throws the plant to the rocks or water.

 

So... Any simple suggestion anyone can give me since the devs must have been occupied not doing a BASIC thing?

If it starts like this, can't even imagine what's coming
