"you slip, I slide" trophy - When your opponent slips your attack, they create a blue ghost to highlight the evasion, to earn this trophy, you will have to slip their counterpunch. To counter their slip, they must first be throwing a counterpunch, you need to hold the :r2:, this will slip their attack if timed correctly. Achieve this 10 times (accumulative) to earn the trophy.

"Imma let you finish" - You and your opponent build super meter by dealing damage or taking damage, to achieve this trophy, your opponent must use their super at which point, you have to press :l1: and use your super, the last person to use their super will counter the first person to use their super. Achieve this 10 times (accumulative) to earn the trophy.

"Broke your nose again" - The ring, known as the square circle has turnbuckles at each corner, these corners are padded, you must be in the position where your opponents back is to a turnbuckle (the corner) and you can charge a :triangle: (hold it down) to knock them down into the turnbuckle. This is not accumulative across matches, so you will have to achieve this 3 times in a single fight. The best method would be for you, the player to back-peddle to the corner, hold up your guard and time an evasion with :cross: to revolve around your opponent, positioning their back to the turnbuckle, then load up your power shot.

"Aint how hard you hit" " It's how hard you can get hit" "And keep moving forward" trophies require you to armour through 30 basic attacks from your opponent. Use Andy "Mad Dog" Pono for this trophy, he has a Neutral :triangle: uppercut that creates armour around his body, when your opponent lands while you uppercut, you will flash red, this is what you want to happen 30 times.

"One step" "One punch" "One round at a time" this trophy can actually be cheesed, choose Axel Ramirez and press neutral :triangle: on any opponents high guard. It will count each time. Achieve this 20 times to earn the trophies.

"Defy the odds" "Defy Logic" "Fulfil an incredible dream" - This could be a little tricky because the AI will often try to hold centre ring, so you have to press the AI back to the ropes (not the corner) and knock them hard into the ropes, you can do this either with a power punch or a counter right/left hook (charged) and this will bounce them into the ropes, they will daze and you can throw 2 jabs and a power punch in the window. Achieve this 30 times (Accumulative) to earn the trophies.

"Go the distance" is the hardest trophy in the game, to make this easier, you want to use Ivan Drago and his charged right/left hooks to deal most of your damage and create stuns (which are not the same as daze's) stuns are more temporary. The AI won't allow you to spam this though, it will slip and counter so you want to use feints. Since this game doesn't have specific feinting mechanics, throw a single jab :square: and the AI will very likely respond as you would expect from feints. At this specific time adjust to throw a charged hook, if their guard stance has changed in response to your feint, they should be open and will take the hit. The AI cheats though, so this isn't guaranteed to be the outcome every time. To set up the AI for traps, you will have to perform a body blow and jab to their temple in combination like so-

:square: - :square: - :square: - :right::triangle: then guard and block their counter or slip their attacks. Combine these moves to take down the champion AI.

Important features to keep in mind - AI will use the clench to get you, this is un-blockable but you can slip it with :r2: and the AI will be given armour (flashing red) tap :cross: to quickstep backwards, don't waste your guard meter on this gimmick, the AI can really spam this sometimes.

The roster for your opponents will be as follows:-

Apollo Creed - His style mostly consists of 4 straight jabs and overheads, so just note that blocking him is easy but his body changes levels, so focus on low hits.

David Nez - His style has a lot of annoying sidesteps and uppercuts, he moves to angles and will have a lot of low levels, so focus on bodyblows to keep him straight, set him up for right hooks.

Erik Erling - His style is comprised mostly of flurries but his defence is not good at all, it's perfectly possible to get away with spamming charged right/left hooks but tap the :r2: to slip at random.

Axel Ramirez - His style is to break your guard, jab his head off and keep him at a distance with jabs. He's actually the easiest on champion. Jab Jab Jab - boof - knockout.

Clubber Lang - His style is exactly the same as Axel Ramirez, he's a borderline clone. Jab Jab Jab - boof - knockout. He also pulls his arms back and telegraphs his attacks, I don't know why, it's dumb.

Rocky Balboa - His style is tricky, he is the worst you have to face, clear bias in this game. A lot of armour spamming, tap :cross: to escape, don't waste guard meter on him. He will slip and change angles constantly, so be sure to use hooking jabs to keep him off of you, the more hooks the better, much like the movies, he blocks with his head. I would hook him constantly to keep him in front of me, it was the most advantageous method but you must slip his punches as often as possible, try tapping :r2: while also throwing hooks, the game registers both inputs.

The rest of the trophies are self-explanatory - good luck.
