Monster Subjugation Requests

Can anyone explain how to do the Monster Subjugation Requests?  I believe they are what the ベテラン討伐隊員 trophy is referring to.  My Japanese is pretty limited, and used Google translate for the in-game explanation, but it didn't really translate well.  The explanation kept mentioning "friends" but not sure how that works if this game is offline.  I tried turning one of those subjugation scrolls for "myself", but didn't seem like it did anything.

 

 If any kind soul could give a step by step instructions (or a link that explains it) on how to do these I'd be really appreciative.   This is really the only trophy that has me worried.

It's a pretty convoluted mechanic, which goes like this:

 

1. First you need some monster hunt requests (scrolls), which drop from random encounters.

2. Find a tavern in a major city and talk to the guy behind the counter [紹介人] to receive his quest.

3. Go to the island where the casino is located, find the item vendor and buy one [さえずりのみつ]. Bring the item to the tavern to finish the quest and unlock the monster hunt mechanic.

4. Now you have to register some "friends" (characters created by real players) by selecting [フレンドをとうろく] and entering a ridiculously long sequence of hiragana characters. You need to go on the internet to find these codes, people are posting them as screenshots on different forums such as this. You should register at least 4 friends.

5. After that you go to the guild representative, who should be standing near the main entrance to the city, and you select the option to send a party out on a hunt. You select the scroll you want and pick up to 4 friends to form a party (more friends + higher levels = faster completion).

6. You wait for the monster hunt to finish. This happens in real time, and you can speed things up by manipulating the clock on your console.

 

Annoying AF, if you ask me
