saboteur! plat tips & 5 arcade tokens...

this game is very straight forward... it consists of part 1 (original game) and part 2 (new game area & apparently dlc) ... the first part can be finished on difficulty 1 in less than 6minutes & the new part can be finished in around 10mins if not quicker...

 

for the first part you just need to grab the bomb then take it to the underground base, swap that with the floppy disc then get to the chopper...

 

the second part consists of completing 4 labs, mixing chemicals, grabbing a key to get some c-4, blowing up a power supply for the gun turrets then wait by the gun turrets until the evac team arrives... that's the entire game...

 

** there is a youtube video from 'Search Games' showing the entire game playthrough in 50mins which you can watch to get a feel for both parts 1 & 2... **

 

the 5 tokens needed are in:

*KEYES lab- in one of the labs on the right

*NIM lab- upper farthest level of maze

*lab canteen

*SUPERIOR lab- upper platforms above water in gauntlet A which requires precision jumps across the way to make the furthest platform just beyond some electricity traps

*right of the lift that leads down to the labs... now play the 5 arcade machines in the canteen, this is for the DEATH BLOSSOM trophy

 

there are 24 guards on patrol in the starting area of this game that are needed to be killed for the trophy CLEAN SWEEP...

 

some maps of the original game show 20 guards but 4 more were added for this newer version of the game... the timer can be stopped right away by collecting the hard disc first, this gives you unlimited time to kill every single guard before completing the first mission...

once you have killed the 24 guards, collect the bomb & then proceed with the mission... you will get the clean sweep trophy once you get to the chopper...

 

for the TERMINATOR trophy, kill every robot in superior lab/gauntlet B area... there are around 20 or so robots & plenty of weapons scattered in this area to kill every croc robot... pressing triangle immedietly with down throws any weapon downwards, so do this when close to croc bots to destroy them... the turret bots can be punched or kicked so keep any weapons for the crocs

 

playing on any difficulty higher than lvl 1 is completely pointless as finishing the game on difficulty lvl 9 offers no rewards except a clue to a secret disco area... 

which is accessed by placing the chemicles Cl (chlorine) - I (iodine) - V (vanadium) - E (einsteinium) next to eachother in the very bottom chemical lab next to the 'DANGER' door...

 

lvl 9 difficulty is very doable if you want to play through it, i completed it in 25mins with a high score of 889,000-code name Minomi... (i was hoping it would unlock the 5th arcade token before i eventually found it the next day?)

 

this game has an pretty low completion rate so hope anybody who has missed the plat can go for it with confidence... tc ninjas ?
