I could go 5+ minutes into a world and die and it would send me back to the start of the level just to do it again. Pretty sure the newer games aren’t this bad. The worst it is when they hit you with some "gotcha!" moment and back to the start it is, there's a few places like that where I was about to throw my controller. olivetheturtle Posted March 5, 2023 Share Posted March 5, 2023 Definitely feeling the pain here - spent 3 hours beating the final boss due to the shoddy checkpoints, and will have to do it all over again to get access to the gold weapons. The guide has this game at a 2/10 in difficulty, but I would count it as probably a 5 or 6, primarily due to the checkpointing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
