staylost
I didn’t realize it at first (while I was busy trophy hunting) but I was taking more and more time to soak in the sights and pet/feed/care for Trico as the game went on. And then seeing Trico looking out at that sunset on the top of the tower before the finale hit me like a rock. I had tears welling in my eyes before any of the actual sad/bittersweet stuff started happening because I knew I’d have to say goodbye to my new best friend. By the time the credits started rolling I was straight up ugly crying. Trico was so believable as a living thing and had left such a mark on me as a character, that I didn’t realize how attached to them I’d become throughout the game. Did anyone else feel this way? Ghost_of_Ziggy
Yes the story was amazing and you felt somewhat of a bond with Trico, especially after 3 or 4 play throughs, but the trophies were not so much fun. It would make a good movie though. I felt like this game was styled a little more like Ico than SOTC, which is ok by me as that’s maybe my favourite game of all time..
