Cannot look around in Pair Babel Mode

I am 99% sure I was able to look around with R3 in Catherine on Ps3, but I cannot do it in Full Body. Makes it way harder to play as I cannot look up and see how the tower changes with each step, making me only work with the stuff I see around me, not being able to work according to upper levels. Annoys the F out of me, but not sure if it's a glitch or something.
