The Remembering Update

Next patch goes live tomorrow (June 7, 2023). Apparently this will be the biggest story update yet, and with it, hopefully a way to get rid of those green fires in the Forgotten Lands (the treasures they're blocking are so tempting). One thing for sure, the new character being added will not have a house to rebuild because they're the owner of the pumpkin house.. The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella. That's it, unless there's a surprise character they're trying to keep hidden.

 

The rest of the update are bug fixes, more customization, and more items to collect. We'll see tomorrow if there's a change to the Renovator trophy, or if the ability to add more player houses will count. The Steam and Epic versions are getting achievements/trophies, so this could be it.

Also they recently put out another road map, and the next update after this one adds Vanelope from Wreck-It Ralph, and September should finally see Belle added after more than a year of being on the cover of the game. So.. that's 2 more character that might have houses to fix. From the sound of it, that might be around the time when the game goes live and will be free-to-play.
