Gregvk49
I am already pretty far into the game, can I go back just before the final mission and collect all the collectibles or would be easier to a follow a guide and do it in my 'Final Fantasy Node' play through? Eraezr
Collectibles are automatically given if you do all the side quests/trials. Should be fine for first play through. Edited August 6, 2023 by Eraezr

Not missable, you can do them all right before the boss, just a heads up, one of them is NOT given automatically after the sidequest, you need to speak to Tarja after the sidequest ends so she actually give you the collectable. And the last one is from doing all the Chronoliths, and for this reason, I suggest you get the trophy before you start FF mode (I didn't try Chronoliths in FF mode, so am not sure if it's harder or not), BUT, one things is sure, the collectables don't transfer into the new mode, so if you don't get the trophy during your first playthrough, you will have to do (almost) all the sidequests again in FF mode to get it. So just do it before the final boss and you have to worry about them ever again.
