I've been trying to get this platinum for four years and I finally got it. All you have to do is join another EU player via quick match if you both own a PS5. No need to be on the same network, no need for a NA player. You both need to be on the PS5, one hosts, the other joins through quick match. That's it! If it gives you an error, keep trying.
