Caesar Clown Posted October 28, 2023 Share Posted October 28, 2023 I know it's been a while, I've barely touched the game since I've been so uninterested in their updates, but yesterday they finally released major news, and it's... yeah. https://disneydreamlightvalley.com/news/EarlyAccessUpdate The game is releasing fully December 5, 2023, and it will be a paid release only. It's no longer going to be free-to-play. As expected, they're adding expansion passes that will add new content to the game for $30 USD (for the first one). Anyone who bought the Founders editions will of course keep the game and be given all the cosmetic items from the Gold Edition of the game and 2500 Moonstones. We will of course not be given the expansion pass, even if we bought the Ultimate Edition. I never expected them to, but I suppose some people did. If you were holding off, waiting for the change, it's sadly not coming. They really had no way of generating profit, the monetization was almost non-existent unless you absolutely had to buy every item they offered. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
