jorritje87 Posted November 22, 2023 Share Posted November 22, 2023 Hi, I have my PS portal since launch and really enjoy it when I'm not home. BUT I have a huge problem concerning connectivity. When I use a wifi network I don't have any problems. The moment I want to use a mobile hotspot on my iPad (8th Gen) no problem. The moment I use my mobile phone's hotspot (Oneplus 10T 5G) it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to connect my portal to my PS5. When I use the same simcard in an old iPhone 7 it works When I try with a different carrier on a Oneplus Nord it's impossible again. etc... I tried changing every setting but I can not find a sollution. I have colleagues with simmilar problems. Does anyone know how to fix this or what creates this situation? Thank you. Neef-Eerd Posted December 23, 2023 Share Posted December 23, 2023 I have a similar problem. I can connect to my PS5 only on my internal WiFi. When I’m not at home, I can’t connect my PSPortal to my PS5. But when I am unable to connect with my PSPortal, my PSRemote play app will work fine, when it’s on the same WiFi network… anyone has the same problem or maybe a solution?
