I checked TA and found this approach, and tested to ensure it works. It does.

Steps to achieve:

1. Invite to your party (not public) a friend who can build gambling machines.
2. Have them come to your camp. Because they're in your party, they can build them in your camp.
3. After the friend builds the gambling machines, you can go into camp modify mode and hit square on each machine to store it.
4. Switch to build mode, and to the stored tab, and when you place the five machines back out the trophy will pop.

 

I didn't test this with just one machine being stored/placed repeatedly, though I suspect that would also work.

 

Anyway, enjoy the free trophy! Much better this way than getting lucky with the expedition giving you plans or having to grind gold or stamps.
