Buying for the PSP/PS3/VITA grants the PS4 & PS5 version?

Hi.

I just noticed that Twisted Metal costs R$ 18,50 for the PSP/PS3/VITA, while the PS4/PS5 version costs R$ 53,90.

Unfortunately, Twisted Metal 2 has no "Purchase" button or price.

If it works this way, that's a killer deal, since PSOne Classics have not gone on sale yet (probably to incentivate signing up for the PS Plus Deluxe).

Does it apply to any PSOne Classic or just Syphon Filter?

I performed a test by buying Twisted Metal through the VITA's PlayStation Store.

That was a hour ago and I still cannot download it on my PS5.

Also, I cannot buy the game through the PlayStation Store (website and PS5's). It just displays an error.

If someone else succeeded with this, how long did the platform take to "convert" the license to PS4/PS5?

That's weird so you cannot buy the game at all on the ps5 huh?

When I try to add the game to the cart, the system (PS5) simply says "You cannot purchase this product at this time."

I could purchase Twisted Metal 2, if I wished, just fine. It's just Twisted Metal (1) that I cannot download at all!

I'll wait for some more time. If I still cannot download it (on my PS4 or PS5), I will refund.

Hm Perhaps try "restoring licenses" under settings?

I used this function on both PS4 and PS5. It does not do anything, since it just affects the games already downloaded to the console.

I read on Reddit that it's mostly a lottery whether the system will be able to convert your license to a new one or not.

I'll ask for a refund.
