Useful information in 2024

Thanks to the guide writer, users that commented on the guide, and users that commented in these forums. A few things can go wrong on your run through this game, so it was good to have all that info available to unf**k some bugged trophies. I wanted to put that info together for future players, and add some details of my own that may help. Please comment here to add details I may have missed.

 

I had a buddy join me at start to get the 5 player trophies out of the way first, then just enjoyed the game in quick play. Once the 100 missions were done for Mercenary, I went full self-boost to complete it. PS5 had me at 58 hours to get it done, but there was definitely some idle time in there. Player base is still pretty active on this, so hopefully it doesn't get shut down like Friday the 13th did. I didn't want to risk waiting any longer though since it's entirely online(no save file).

 

At match end you are free to leave at the results screen before the counter is done(at the final screen), stats will count. I saw mentions that skins are a possible reason some trophies bug out. I can't see how, but as a result I never used any during my run. I skipped them just in case because I don't really care about skins anyway. 

 

Precision Leaper - The only trophy that requires 5 active players. I tried a few combinations on my alt account with players and bots...none worked.

 

Traditionalist - Better to unlock with 5 active players since it unlocked on the first try. It can be done solo with bots now, but it doesn't always unlock for whatever reason(3 attempts on my alt to unlock it).

 

Safety Net/Two Birds, One Stone - Easy enough to do in public matches, but if you don't get them done you'll need 3 players. I didn't test these on bots.

 

We can kill it... - I had taken down a few by this point, but the trophy didn't unlock till I put in the final bullet. 

 

So Close, Yet so far... - I had done this one a few times, but the trophy wouldn't unlock. It's either bugged, or there is an unknown requirement. To unlock it I went into private match with my alt account(and 3 bots) on the Derailed map. I added max health and max damage to the predator and left the fireteam alone. Once they got to the ex-fill I ran in and took on each player one at a time...downed with melee, then a quick-claim. This unlocked the trophy.

 

At this point it's worth mentioning that any cumulative trophy that unlocks at the end of a match can bug out. Although I didn't do it at first, I would recommend counting quick-play completions, successful ex-fills, predator kills, and claims. This way you'll know when to try to get them unlocked. 

 

Mercenary - I felt like I should have gotten this one, so I tried this based on comments I read. You can do it in private, but I decided to do it in public. I timed the search function to get my alt in as the predator for a public match, based on predicted wait times for both. Once connected and the match started I quit the match with my alt so the predator would just go invisible and stay at spawn. At this point I should have also unlocked barrels and boars, so I went and killed a couple boars and blew up some barrels with a rifle. I then found the cloaked predator and killed it. This unlocked Mercenary, Boom, and Feral Hogs. You can use this method in private as well, but it didn't always work. I think it helps to get one more of whatever you need before killing the predator. So if you need AI head-shots, go get some then kill the unmanned predator to end the match. I did it online for Mercenary, just in case it had to be a quick-play match to tick up that count by one.

 

Guarded to Perfection - Same method as above, but easier in a private match. Start up a 1v1 with your alt or boosting partner as the predator(no mods needed). The predator should send a pic showing the spawn location, then use the menu to exit the match. Then just go kill it and protect it(bring the PDL to reveal it's location if needed). This should also work for any other fireteam trophy, but possibly not Mercenary.

 

Mission Accomplished - I was pretty sure this one bugged out as well, but maybe it's just a lot of ex-fills. During public quick-play matches that doesn't happen every time. I was speed running them with mods in private, so that definitely counts for this. It was at least 60 ex-fills needed in private to unlock for me. I used these settings to speed it up.

Allow Guerrilla Mercs - No

Fireteam Bots - 4

AI Health and Damage - 10%

Fireteam Health - 10,000%

Movement Speed - 500%(to your preference)

Jump Height - 300%(to your preference)

Air Control - 1,000%

Fall Damage - 0%

Fireteam Weapon Damage - 1,000%

Interaction Speed - 50%

Alarms Per Camp - 0

Infinite Stamina - Yes

 

Wrap Artist, Ankle Buster, Practice Makes Perfect, Elite, and Ancient - These all bugged out on me, but bots do count for every one of them. Here is the method listed in the guide comments, but it didn't always work. I found it did work every time when I did the thing needed to increase the count. So for Wrap Artist...I shot them all with the Net Gun, downed them, then did a long claim on each.

Restart your console and start a private match with these changes. Once you load in, stay at spawn and let the bots come to you. Do a long-claim on all four of them.

Fireteam Health 10%

Fireteam Speed 500%

Starting Ammo 0%

(This is also a decent way to farm claims if you don't have a 2nd unit/partner.)

 

Practice Makes Perfect - You can just run around killing AI and waiting for respawns to get this as you go. If you want to speed it up though, follow the fireteam around as they progress the missions and ex-fill. You can kill the AI for them along the way to get as many as 70 kills per map.

One thing I noticed when I was farming in private matches, there is some kind of bug, that even if you reach the number for the trophy, it doesn't drop, only if you go to the main menu and start a new lobby, in the claims, I was doing it with a friend, there were 34 claims per party, we ended with 102 long claims in 3 matches, the trophy didn't drop, we played one more match, it didn't drop either, we gave up for now, the other day, when opening a new solo lobby, doing 1 time the action, the trophy dropped at the end of the match, I believe the information is saved on the server, as soon as the lobby is closed

Beat me to the punch but basically, made a quick guide for bugged trophies with this patch. Hoping to have 1-stop shop so people don't have to scurry the internet and waste time on fake/troll solutions (wasn't fun, but was funny).

It's mostly trial and error, but each search has a predicted time to find a match. So if it said 2:30 to be the Predator, and :30 to be a Marine, I would start the Predator search and then time the Marine search at around 2:00. Hope that makes sense...when you get it right the loading screens will sync up.

For anyone having problem with Mission Accomplished, I used the above suggested mods to unlock the trophy after 73 private games. Just keep doing it until it unlocks.

 

Geez, when I started this game I only play FT quick matches until I am level 90 but I never got Mercenary, and I must have done at least 150 quick plays. I had to boost that trophy in the end.

 

After getting every other trophies, I had to play another 73 games to pop Mission Accomplished, it’s so unforgiving.

This is how I boost Mercenary: I queued with other 3 boosting buddies, when match started we grenaded ourselves to death to get an instant loss. After roughly 20 matches our trophies popped at the same time. However, I remember in the last match, the predator is a real player.
