London heist issue

Well, I am having an extremely annoying issue with this game: basically, my hand/controller doesn't get detected by the camera, meaning I can't do pretty much anything regarding the challenges.

 

In particular, I am stuck in the part where you have to shoot against the guards: I can't even grab the gun, I spent a good 15 minutes moving my arm like an idiot in front of the camera, I also tried to change its position several times, but nope, nothing happens. The game just refuses to recognise me and I am stuck in there doing nothing.

 

Any ideas?

 

Edit: Solved. Turned out it was a problem with the controller, once I switched it, it worked fine.
