Popular Post VianPlays
I got a review copy for this game so I have been playing it on both Steam and the PS5 for some time now and have curated this list of (hopefully) helpful things you should know about, especially if you are a beginner. If you want to skip through sections in the video, here is the timestamp for them: CHARACTER SELECTION INFO 02:36 CHARACTER AFFINITY 10:34 CHARACTER PAIRINGS 11:36 BATTLE MECHANICS 12:31 FORMATION AND STANCES 15:31 HOW TO UNLOCK MORE STANCES 20:21 SKILLS 21:27 EVELING CHARACTERS 22:42 LEVELING TIPS 23:59 ARCHWING FARMING STRATEGY 25:52 ELEMENTAL SCALE AND CONTRACTS 26:47 MONEY MAKING TIP 29:41 I have also been doing a walkthrough/playthrough of the game, which you can find the links for on the pinned comment of that video (if you are ever lost as to what to do next). sealightbreeze
Can you just specify if anything is missable or not? Edited April 6 by sealightbreeze
DarkStarSquall
Just finished my second Playthrough. Here are some of the informations i gathered: Missable Trophy 1 - No Rest for the Weary (Completed the story without having used the inn or a camp) It´s a grind and lots of quick save spamming Missable Trophy 2 - Such a Lovely Bell! (Completed the story without having spoken to Coco in the Bottomless Pit) *Note: Coco is giving you the Shadow Core on B3, which is necessary to proceed and gets kidnapped. <- This will void the trophy This might be NG+ exclusive but you can find the Shadow Core left from the big gate in the Lair of Shadows and skip Coco. Missable Trophy 3 - Master Mapper (Filled out 100% of all maps) The Boiling Sea vanishes at some point making it impossible for completely Map it out for the current Playthrough. Also the maps are necessary for all stances (Stance Specialist Trophy) Not sure if Boiling Sea is the only map that disappears but i mapped out everything on my first visit if possible. Full Party (Brought all 7 main characters together) is probably missable but not worth mentioning as you have to do 7 Playthroughs anyway. They are in Initium as you progress the story. Just talk to them to recruit. Leave and re-enter the town might help. Stances: (credits to [https://www.arrpeegeez.com/2015/10/the-legend-of-legacy-walkthrough-stances.html]) -Hidden Forest - Outskirts of Town, near the entrance - Ambush, Suppress -Forest Ruins - Clearing, southeast shell - Delay, Ambush -Roaring Valley - Valley Entrance, eastern ridges - Recovery -Archwing Burrow - Stinking Tunnel, east of southwestern entrance - Ambush -Valley Ruins - Propylaea, west of entrance - Rush -Seaside Ruins - Tectonic Forum, dead end east of entrance - Recovery -Great Crag - Mountain Rise, northwest of entrance - Suppress -Tabletop Mountains -Southern Mesa, up first ramp to the north - Counterstrike, Suppress -Western Mesa, up first ramp and to your left - Pressure, Counterstrike, Recovery -Eastern Mesa, up first ramp and through the grass to the east - Caution, Recklessness, Recovery -Northern Mesa, near first batch of frozen water northwest of the entrance - Recklessness, Anticipate -Ship Graveyard - Forest of Ships, northwest from the entrance, beside a bank of coral - ??? -Bogsaur Marsh - Wetlands, right near the entrance - Pressure, Anticipate This was really accurate for me to acquire all stances. I hope the trades (100) and battles (5000) accumulates over multiple playthroughs [TBC] "Short" game that is more grind than story. Be prepared and happy hunting!
D_D_K_1_2_3
DarkStarSquall's post is really good. I just wanted to add some additional info based on my experience playing the game. I was able to get this trophy on my first playthrough. The Shadow Core was at the same spot. I got the 100 trades trophy on my 3rd playthrough, and I definitely know that I didn't do 100 trades in that single playthrough. I got the 2000 battles trophy on my 4th playthrough and the 5000 battles trophy on my 7th playthrough. I'm also certain that I didn't do that many battles in those playthroughs.

In order to get the platinum for this game, you have to play the story with each character. There are 7 characters, so you have to play the game 7 times. My first playthrough of the game took 30 hours because I took my time to play the game and fully explore all of the maps. However, each of my NG+ runs took 10 hours on average. I think my fastest run was 8 hours. The game isn't very long, since you can run past most enemies and skip several areas. A lot of the time taken in the NG+ runs was spent grinding out stats, awakening skills, and trading for better equipment because stats, skills, and items don't carry over in NG+ unfortunately. Yep can confirm. For me it was important to get Retaliation or Counterbash for my Tank as soon as possible as this makes some bosses plus the endboss trivial. Rushing Plathroughs wont help though as you need the 5000 Battles so take your time and unlock some nice moves before progressing. I used Tank, Bow and spear as main team. @D_D_K_1_2_3 thanks for the heads up to my post. Can confirm now both too as i got the 50 trades and 2000 Battles on my fourth playthrough. Did you had a dedicated grindspot for the 5000 battle that you could share? I am using the Seaside Ruins atm. I'm not sure if it was the best spot to grind, but it was an area that could be accessed early on, and many monsters were placed closely together so I didn't have to run too much to get to the next monster. I'm not sure if this is relevant for you anymore because I see that you have the platinum. Congratulations! Yeah i finished the PS4 Version and with lot of backup saves plus save transfer i could get the PS5 Version done as well. Used Seaside Ruins for mindless grinding and the summit of the gods to unlock skills. Depends on what kept my motivation up...
djunk101
How exactly do you "unlock the band" for the "Sing Me a Song" trophy? Trying to google around hasn't given me any hints...

They will be in the bar as soon as you start a new game+ with all stories finished.
