Getting the platinum while have a semi blind playthrough?

I want to platinum Fallout 4, but I don't want to fully follow a guide first, would it be possible to play the game at your own pace then make the necessary saves at "The molecular level" and just simply play the game and after beating it going back to the saves?

i mean technically, but it would be really really hard to know where people are, what dialogue options to pick, what people to kill or not etc. I just recommend following a guide my man, Bethesda games arent generally easy to 100% without a guide

that being said, fallout 4 is amazing and even if you miss a trophy having to put more time on fo4, it wont be something to complain about

yeah you should be fine as long as you don't kill any NPC's. i can't think of anything that would make you miss getting the plat before that quest. i did exactly what you are looking to do and went back to a save i made before that quest once i finished my blind playthrough. maybe don't progress the faction quests too much before you get to "The Molecular Level" just to be on the safe side

Id recommend making a separate save when you get "the molecular level" that will leave you a a great spot to come back and grab the missable trophies. as there are different endings. this will leave you free to play spoiler free without worry.

 

Since you cant really edit names of saves, what I do to help remember which manual save I can go back to(loading save will show a little screenshot to the side.), is save when looking at something you can recognize, like a specific building or something you created on a base yourself. Something you would instantly recognize. ill use decorations on my base like posters or paintings up close.
