When you designed a game, it had to work on every device in the PlayStation Mobile family. This meant features like the Vita rear touch pad were off limits because not every device had them available. This summer the developer program is getting SDK 2.0. This SDK allows for targeted development to Vita and Vita TV exclusively. They are also allowing for Vita only games and Vita TV only games.
