Problem with Supplements in NG+

I completed The Last of Us on Grounded mode earlier this week and started NG+ today on Grounded difficulty. I made a new save for NG+ and was playing through it until I got to the point in the first chapter where Joel gets his pistol. I then hit *select* to check out how much more progress I needed for fully upgrading my supplements when I noticed that most of my supplemental progress was gone. Keep in mind I didn't use chapter select at all on my playthrough for Grounded and I still have my 100% save file for Grounded if I need to go back to it. I was wondering if anybody else experienced anything similar to this and if so what they did to fix the issue.

Dont supplements include listening mode, but that is disabled on Grounded?

You can't upgrade listen mode on grounded/survivor, but each of the other ones require more supplements to upgrade

Ahh I see, I started the game on easy just for the story, going to beat easy+ then im jumping straight to Grounded+ should be an adventure

I guess what I could do is play the game through on Grounded+ and see how far I get with weapons/supplements and play Easy+ after for shiv doors and the rest of the weapons/supplements.
