Voting gives *no* Create XP

I know this game is three years old, but people continue to pick it up because it's a lot of fun. Completionists who pick the game up are naturally going to look online for information about getting a couple of the online trophies, namely get 50,000 Create XP and reach level 28. I feel the need to get some clarification somewhere online, what better place then here, at PSNProfiles?

 

I'm not sure who started it or why it persists, but voting on creations gives no Create XP.

 

Downloading a creation = 100 XP

Using someones creation = 25 XP

Viewing a creation = 20 XP

Voting = 0 XP

 

If you download someones track, kart and Mod and race using all three, you would give them 75 XP (for using them), + 300 XP (for downloading them), for a total of 375. If you viewed, downloaded and used them, you would give an additional 60 XP, for a total of 435.

 

If someone has concrete information to show me otherwise, please pass it along.

 

If you're going to help boost, instead of voting, view and download. Vote if you think their creation is awesome, but otherwise, it's just to get the Offering Opinions trophy (Rate 10 Mods, tracks and karts).
