Shareplay game crash

When my friend and I try to play Don't Starve and I host and give him the controller to play, the game crashes and gets an error. We tried multiple times, and tried to get help from another forum. Does anybody here can try that and see if it works, or does Don't Starve doesn't work for shareplay like Advanced Warfare? Thanks if you answer.

There are currently 14 games that cannot be played with Share Play:

To answer your question - some games block SharePlay (it can be disabled by the developer), others need a patch for it to work properly. I suspect Don't Starve is in the latter category.

Rayman Legends?! Crap, I was gonna use shareplay to play that online with a friend

Same thing happens with my friend and I, hoping updates improve the feature in time.
