mouse disconect then reconnects

I played a bit of pc games the past 2 weeks, and my 2 mouses, every min or so they disconnect and reconnect after 10 seconds. I tried every port in my computer. Yet my headset or keyboard dont do this, it's just mice. I tried going in device manager and removing power management, but that wasnt the case.

 

So I dunno what to do. Every mouse I try seems to do this.

Are they wired, or wireless mice?

If wireless, it could be a conflict/signal problem with another device you have nearby.

If wired, there could be a break or loose connection within the wire.

 

Out of curiosity, have you tried another mouse (as in, not one of your two but another all together) - if you can still produce the same problem then it narrows it down to your motherboard / it's USB ports having an intermittent fault or a conflicting driver/piece of software on your computer.

Further to the above, have you tried both of your mice on other computers to see if the problem still exists?

 

Edit: Just occurred to me, have a check and make sure there's no power management features enabled on your USB hubs in Device Manager. These can sometimes cause chaos too for mice.
