I've seen some people swear by Magic Shell for it's stated effect of mitigating all attacks for x rounds, though I still get hit pretty much every time I use it . On the other hand, I've seen some people swear by Fast Code with the goal of hopefully eliminating the enemies before they can do anything to you.
