Avi Arad (CEO of Marvel, produced a shit load of the Marvel movies) is going to be producing it, with Colombia Pictures backing it. http://gamingeverything.com/27928/is-metal-gear-solid-getting-its-own-movie/ I've no idea how this is going to turn out, or if it will even be a series, but after seeing the major Marvel movies I've relatively high hopes for it.
