Trouble executing two Climax Heat-actions

I have executed all Climax Heat-variations exept Kiryu's:


酔鉄山の極み - Activated by pressing  when you are fully drunk. It will take 3-4 drinks to get to that state. This action is learned through training with 宗介.

究極の極み - Activated by pressing  when your health bar is flashing. This action is learned through training with 宗介.


I have completed all of Sosukes training missions and should've unlocked them.
I am doing what is says in the description but they won't activate.

What am I doing wrong?

I think you have to be locked on to an enemy like with the initial climax heat for kiryu, if you're not doing that. For me, the fully drunk one replaces the normal one when you're drunk enough, same with the health bar flashing.
