New Star Wars Battlefront title goes VR... with an X-Wing mission

At Sony's E3 conference, some (probably) in-game footage of the new Star Wars Battlefront title was shown... It's a VR title, and you can sit in an X-Wing. Now I can die happy.

Cool and all, but if I still won't shell out 39 bucks for this piss poor attempt of a reboot, I'm not shelling out another twelve hunred for a PS Neo and camera and PS VR thing, to play what's basically an HD version of the old X-Wing games.

Some added info: It will be available at launch. It will probably not cost much because it's just one mission and it's free to download for people who own Battlefront. Which means I'll try to get Battlefront in a trade next month, unless this mission just costs like €5 or so for the rest of us in which case I'm just going to pay up. I hope they're using this to test out if people want to have a complete Rogue Squadron VR game.

 

Also, it's now called the Star Wars Rogue One X-Wing VR Mission, so it will somehow tie into the new move (marginally, probalby).
