How do I post a score online in Arcade Archives: Double Dragon?

I'm thinking this might be really hard and eventually might be impossible. When I got into online rankings it only shows the top 100. I can't seem to get my score to upload. Does that mean I have to post in top 100? Many of them are already the max score.

Edit: All you need to do is break 20k, which is the default high score. After that, when you die you can enter your initials. I still had problems so try leaving it there for a good half a minute before continuing. A prompt should pop up asking if you want to upload your score to the servers. Repeat with a higher score.

You can set it to easy and 4 lives to make this much easier.
