Mission [TOTAL STEALTH] The War Economy + Bugs

Recommended Posts

Ok. This Mission stops the second youre spotted and brings you back to the start. NO I HAVE NOT USED RANK RESTRICTING HARDWARE ANYWHERE.

I have done it 3 times now with 100% accuracy and all the Bonus for Stealth-No Kills-No Detection-Getting The Blueprint after taking the chopper out and even extracting the 2 Arms dealers (Not Killing Them)

in a time of 25:11 Oh and also doing all the mission tasks.

I dont get how I can be A Ranked on a Mission that requires you not to be detected, and you do every task above and beyond what you need to do. I was looking at the Rank Screen afterwards and theres nothing (I know there isnt anyway) that even sticks out as being a restricted rank or any reason for it.

Im 99% of the way through and the game is really buggy now.

I ASK THIS.... HOW or WHY have I got a Task Achievement for conserving ALL the animals 100% and when I check I have 1 more to go 46 - Blanford's Fox .

I know where it is and have followed a guide or two to get it but when I get back in the chopper it just says the usual.

Am I on that list of people who cannot get this Platinum?

Even The Specialist known as the Zoologist is not in my game anymore and its stopping me from creating a basic level 4 bait- which could be stopping me from trapping the last Animal.

ALSO...HOW DA FXCK DO I GET THE MAN ON FRIE TO SPAWN In Mission 46 The Man Who Sold The World?

Ive done that hospital part 4 times now AND I keep going back to the end credits upon leaving the hospital entrance and then back to the ACC. HELP

This is drawning my energy down a hole............

On The War Economy you can just extract the target in the tower during the first conversation as long as you have the fulton device upgraded. That will get you an S Rank. I captured Blandfords fox with the upgraded capture cage first try, you might just need to keep trying. I didn't need the bait bottles for it. Not tried the final mission so can't help you with that.

Hey...Your answers are short but theyre very effective. Im using level 4 cages at the minute. But I understand what you say....

Good Tip for the S Rank. The only thing is, I now need a new escape plan as its back to the start of mission if spotted.

I shouldve known better as I did something similar on the standard War Economy.

Doing now........

BTW The man who sold the world is not the final mission, just incase it affects your game.

(The man who sold the world) is mission 46 out of 50 (50 being EXTREME SAHELANTHROPUS)

This game is really getting to me now. Mission 51 was initially the last (area 51 type scenario) but it was "cut" from the game.

Thank again Pal.....

There is an easier way to complete "[Total Stealth] The War Economy" for the S-Rank. (Just be sure to bring a silenced sniper rifle with a decent scope)
Simply make your way into the airport and hide between/behind the North-Eastern material containers and wait for the helicopter. (Watch out for the snipers)
Your target will show up in the open window right below the landing spot of the helicopter. Just shoot him when he gets into view and extract via the container.

In mission 46 "Truth: The Man Who Sold The World" you just take care of all the soldiers in the lobby and pick up one of their guns, then try to exit the building. (This triggers a cutscene)
After the cutscene you're still inside the building, but now the Man on Fire is there as well! Use the gun you picked up to get the 20 hits objective and then simply run outside.
The optional objectives won't check until you finish the mission so don't worry about that, just make sure to get at least 20 hits.

I'm not sure if you've already managed to capture the Blanford's Fox?
DO know that the Task Achievements can glitch out sometimes because I got the 100% Key Dispatch missions, and I still had 3 to go..
You mentioned you know the location, so if you haven't managed to catch it yet, keep trying!

Its impossible to catch the last bloody animal due to a number of things.  Mainly around 4 or 5 Specialists like for example LINGUA FRANCA Misssion 14 The Zoologist is no longwer there.#

Things like key itemas and documents I cannot find no more; oh and Nanotech Specilists, Explosive Specialists etc now missing from the game. I cant get them back either... FFS BUGZZZZZZ

I am now 3 S Ranks away from the ELITE TROPHY for S Ranking every mission with every mission task complete.

Then its a Plat. SKULL FACE; EXTREME BACKUP BACK-DOWN and EXTREME CODE TALKER

I've done some reading and apparently some other people were having problems regarding missing personnel with unique skills.
Whenever you replay the mission in which you originally obtained the specialists, you should be able to get them back.
But they might be placed into your waiting room because of low skill ranking. Have you tried re-assigning all personnel?
You could also try to look for the specialists in your waiting room yourself, and assign them manually if they're there.
Another trick that might work is to simply dismiss the lowest ranking staff member on that department before starting the mission, and then extracting the specialist.

I'm assuming you want the zoologist for the bait bottles? I can assure you that I captured all animals yesterday without using a single bait bottle.
There's a debate about what their exact function is, but you'll have no hard time catching any of the animals as long as you're on the right location.

Are you having any problems with those last 3 missions?
I've completed them myself a couple of days ago, so I'd be glad to help you out if needed.

Hope everything works out!

The specialists are all still missing...

However I did platinum the game but because of all the basterd bugs, I logged a total of 915 Hours gameplay on my way to get it. Not counting the aborted missions. I got the last animal by trapping it at night time instead of day.

The specialists bugs need fixed for others. Ill upload a pic of the missing ones to show you on here.

915 hours! You must have had a hard time. I respect your patience. It took me only 110 hours but obviously without any bugs. How did you even clock in all those hundreds of hours?

Much Appreciated for the Respect for my Patience.

During the 915 hours of Madness......There were times when the controller was bashed on my head, BY ME.There was more than 915 hours BTW.

I had to delete my profile data and restart the game.

My first Trophy was the Prologue called AWAKENING as shown in this picture.

I started the game on 24th FEB & persevered until 8th SEP for the platinum.

915 Hours is a long time for one game, but I would not let it defeat me.

I started learning the S Ranks again. By that I mean I replayed the game from the beginning and remembered certain objectives did or did not need to be done for S Rank. In fact, I was able to EXTREME BackUp Back Down in 3 mins and get S Rank. In Fact I was happy about it so I did a wee video for YT and here it is... EDIT: Just recalled I did it with no traces as well HEHE

That's actually a very nice method. Could've saved me some time if I had known about this before haha.

I'm also really impressed by the 915+ hours you've put into the game..

It's a shame you had to deal with so many bugs.. But luckily that didn't stop you!

Congratz on your well deserved platinum!

Thanks Pal. Theres always a quicker route to S and to my own fortunate/unfortunate circumstances, I got lost in the games many bugs and forgot to apply the S Rank when I should have, so as to to have completed this in under 330 Hours. BUT..........The grind has been worth it, and I did learn a lot about pressure due to the 915 hous (And more that are not logged when you abort a mission)

I just done [EXTREME] Code Talker on my own new quick Method and S Rank each time too with no need to even come close to the skulls. I was shocked at how easy I did it. Also....C2W is soooo simple on SUBSISTENCE that I didnt even really enjoy it. TPP is a great game and I am sad that Kojami wasnt able to fully apply his MGS touch to it

Nice job and congrats on finally getting that platinum.

Thanks FLUX and much appreciated...What games do you guys recommend next?

PS Heres a quick look at 4 of the ones that were absent the entire game....

It all depends on your taste of course, but I hadn't played Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor until recently.

I decided to pick up the GOTY edition that includes all DLC and I really liked it so yeah.

I'm not sure if you're planning on getting platinum on games you've bought in the past?

If so, the Uncharted remasters should be easy and fun ones.

I really enjoyed 100%'ing Grand Theft Auto V, it might take forever but some of my friends were really impressed by it haha (So, worth it I guess?)

I must add I had already obtained the majority of the trophies before I became a trophy hunter, by simply playing the game, so yeah.

STAR WARS Battlefront is a special game imo.. It seems as if people either hate it or love it. For me it was OK until I started hunting trophies.

It completely changes the game if you ask me. Your play style is constantly changing because of different tasks and weapons and trophies.

This only way this game should be played is as a trophy hunter if you ask me!

Im intrigued by shadow of Mordor. It looks a bit IMO like a great version of "Tenchu" or something.

GTA V I have and will play it when I get rid of the rubbish games I have. My problem is I have way toooo many games and therefore it actually makes choice harder. I have Star Wars and I was excited when In played it the first time and also I remember enjoying the training at the start.

Star Wras is a game that as you say, you either like or dont like.

I love stealth games where extreme patience is required but doesnt always come to fruition.

That said, I love a good game of Tekken 6 to get rid of some bad beats on the console. ATM I am playing Broken Sword 5 on PC which I love....

Thanks........I`ll update this thread when I pay a few games.

【MGSV:TPP】Episode RED BRASS S RANK ALL TASKS

This Level can seem difficult but ONLY when you begin playing it for the first time as its mostly about timing and knowing where the RED BRASS are going to be.

So......I beat them to it and managed to see them from where they were coming.

This is quite funny because the Jeeps they arrive in....

Well although they are driving towards the town, ALL the seats are empty, until they get within range of Idroid Face Recognition...

See 2:35 and  3:22 of the video........After this I fell under the level and was trapped ina land blow and could ide my horse etc and lookup at the world above me. I could see noting but bloody pixels and I wasnt even showing on the Map ;-(
