Dishonored 2 launch sales down 38% on Dishonored

It definitely has something to do with the review policy but i think more than anything it has to do with simple logic. What i mean by this is;

 

lot's of people will have bought dishonored. Some of those people will have really enjoyed it and others won't have (it is a fairly niche game). Of those people who bought the original and didn't like it, how many will have bought the sequel? Not that many.

 

Adding this to the decline in preorder numbers and the increase in digital sales (which aren't accounted for) and i think the numbers just make sense. This happens with all sequels.
