Recommended ARK Videos and Links for new players

ARK is very unforgiving and brutal for new players - especially if you opt to play on an Official Server - I wanted to therefore post a couple of links for any new players to assist you with your ARK journey.

The ARK wiki will tell you every single piece of information needed with regard to this game.  I always refer new players to it as the information on there is vital.

The taming calculator will show you how long it will take to tame each dinosaur with their preferred and non-preferred food items.  Official servers are typically set at a taming mult of 1 and a food rate mult of 1.  However they do hold evolution events where these are increased to 2 and you are also able to adjust these settings even higher on a single player server

The developers are very dedicated and communicative, so any questions or issues are usually addressed over on the forums.

 

 

I intend on making a full guide shortly, once I have tested out a theory regarding an easy road map to platinum but from experience of playing over on Xbox, these are the links that usually help out the most.
