Play with randoms like SE2 or Have to know someone who plays the game like SE3

Just a question cause i bought the game but i want to know before hand if you can join to anyones game or you have to know someone to play the same game as you in co-op

As its unanswered, I feel I must answer. Simply put you can simply go to MP and select quick game and it will start matchmaking. Within 45 secs you are spawned and in a panic you run like a maniac to hide LOL.
