Improvised kills

So about a year after I finished this game, I decided to go for plat as I only needed angelic beast trophy, apocalyptic playthrough and the one which makes me kill 150 mobs with objects from environment and here's my question. Most obvious way to get it done was going to crossroads, finish all zombies with lamps, etc. And after I clear it, can I simply save at crossroads, reload that save and do it all over again (because mobs are respawned)? Or do I have to travel to some other location and then get back to crossroads?

 

Edit: I will be doing that on my old save from normal playthrough, right before final boss fight.
