Murumasa Rebirth (enhanced Wii port) coming to US this year

Following the announcement earlier today that Soul Sacrifice is coming out in April, Aksys has revealed that the PlayStation Vita will be getting another game for North America this year in the form of Muramasa Rebirth, a revamped version of Muramasa: The Demon Blade that came out on Wii.

Rebirth comes with two different stories, one featuring Momohime, a princess possessed by an evil spirit, and the other has you playing as Kisuke, a ninja who has lost his memory. As you battle the demons, you can expect a fully localized English translation, 108 blades to choose from, each with their own unique ability, and the option to purchase four additional characters as DLC.

Amazon.com is currently holding pre-orders for Muramasa Rebirth, listing it for $39.99 and a June 25th release date, though that may change in time. A pre-order bonus is also listed in the title, but no details were given.

Hooray, this was probably one of the games I was looking into. I haven't picked it up yet because it's on Wii and I was holding out for this announcement, so that makes me happy.

I'm dead curious about the dlc characters that will supposedly be available.

 

I wonder if it's just skins or maybe an individual game play/story.
