Streets of Rage 3DS port!

Seems SEGA has a long list of 3D ports it wants to release, we already talked about the upcoming Ecco the Dolphin and Shinobi III. It seems now they filed Streets of Rage for a rating over at the Australian Classification Board.

Its a bit odd that SEGA would do the first one and not the second, which is an (obviously) superior title.

 

Although I half wish it was a full remake, I can get down with a port of the first game.  Hopefully if this does good, Sega will actually make a Streets of Rage 4, or let the SoR remake people continue...or whatever.

isn't it better if they just remake it?

like remaking it with a better fast packed 2D graphics and stuff, almost every known consoles does have a port of SOR it's better to remake it this time.

Just port the second one since its superior in every way.

I agree with Ramonalicious. Streets of Rage 2 was like one of the finest gaming experiences of my childhood. Best in the series by far. Did anyone play on Mania mode? I was so proud of myself when I made it to Stage 6... only to die to The Bear. Damn him and his little red striped wrestling leotard. So much rage.

its hard to get with any brawlers now that double dragon neon has entered my life, but if they remake it anything like that then id die happy
