Save data: Disc vs digital

Does Uncharted 3 on Plus share the same data as the retail version? I know some games are separate (LBP2, All 4 One).  I figure I might get some more play out of Uncharted 3 if I can run it off my HDD rather than juggle discs between that and Dynasty Warriors (and possibly Last of Us) if the save data is the same, as in I can continue from where I left off in the disc version.

I read around on gamespot forums and gamefaqs, and people have said that no the saves are not compatible, I'm sorry

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.  Most super popular games tend to be this way too.  LBP2, Infamous 2 (I think), All 4 One.  I guess I'll just stick with my disc copy.

FWIW: I have the EU disc version of U3, and bought the GotY Edition from PSN Store, and the save data carried over just fine.

Well, color me surprised.  I decided to boot up Uncharted 3 FTP, and my save data from the retail version was there and loaded just fine.
