Abstergo Sequence 2 loading screen freeze

I made it to the second abstergo sequence, however in the loading screen before the sequence loads my game completely freezes up. I've tried quitting and reinstalling the game data, to no success. Anyone out there have a similar problem and find a solution?

 

 

FIXED: reinstalled the game data again, seemed to fix it

It could be a faulty disc? Check your AC4B disc!

All good now! I swapped disks first thing, but that didn't fix it. So I just deleted the game data and reinstalled. Seemed to fix my issue!

Yikes, the problem persists but differently this time. Sequence 9, "Imagine My Surprise" mission. I go to press O to start the mission, and the screen goes black like it's loading, but I can still enter eagle vision in the darkness. The loading icon then freezes, the entire game freezes, and I have to hard restart my console. This happens every time I try to start that specific mission. I started a Templar hunt out of frustration and that worked. Any ideas as to my predicament?

Do you have a second console?

If you can try playing AC4B on a different console and see if it works! It might be your PlayStation console that’s not working, or it could be the disc, or you have corrupted the data!
