"Dominator" and "Quarter Legend" are not hard at all

Recommended Posts

It does not matter how well you score in the main game, how long it takes you to complete, or how many times you must retry. Getting 100,000 points on the in-game scoreboard and 25 consecutive successful levels are both easier than they look. You can get them before even starting either 1P or 2P modes. The manual, when referring to the scoreboard ("...only counting scores from One Player mode"), as well as Quarter Legend's own description ("In One Player Mode...") are a little misleading, but fortunately the trophies are not that specific in practice.

Both trophies can be obtained through the community ("Custom") levels. Simply download from the list of custom levels (25~50), looking for grids fully saturated with elements or hazards. There is often a string of robots adjacent to a string of exits (by design of some savvy users) so the level can be completed in 1 move without any engagement with the other elements. Despite being extremely easy (and admittedly utterly betraying the game's premise), the levels are interpreted by the system as so "difficult" that they will net you thousands of points. Much more than the 101 you'll likely get on the most complicated main stages. After 25 levels you will get Quarter Legend (no need to practice levels 24 and 25 for a perfect run). You will get Dominator immediately after hitting the score threshold (if you are already signed in) or likely when viewing your My Robots profile or the Global High Scores once you sign back in.

This didn't take long to realize after seeing an "Updating Leaderboard" popup after getting a dubiously free 2000-5000 points from a custom level, but I thought it would be nice to point out, as Dominator is one of the three online trophies. Yay for cheese. Btw, the game can be found in an EU store.
