This game is fun and easy... kinda :-(

This game is only sold in the asian region, which is weird since it seems to have two other trophy lists (possibly EU and NA). The asian game is in english anyway. There's almost no western players of this game.

 

Progress through the game isn't difficult, and getting all trophies is easy except one. Achieving S-Ranks is hard, sometimes really hard. Unfortunately the difficulty isn't most of the times the problem of the player. To achieve a S-Rank you need to S-Rank two of 3 goals: a certain time, very few rioters dead (I think it should be less than 10% of total, at least it seems) or a certain number of cops ejected (their version of death, and seems to be similar to rioters percentage). On most mission is extremely hard to S-Rank something besides time, so you'll have to settle with rioters and cops. If cops is easy to achieve S-Rank, rioters sometimes is absolutely infuriating. The rioters "follow" you but sometimes have their own mind and die. In the last areas (Reikjavik and Anarland) there's a few traps that will have weird behaviors and can kill a few rioters (there goes the s-rank). There's enemies that will be behind buildings and other things where you can't hit them, but they still kill your rioters. The game auto aims the nearest enemy, but the nearest enemy can suddenly be a locked wall and the enemy you were just trying to eject suddenly ejects your rioters. The camera sometimes is awful. In the Reikjavik boss I S-Ranked it pretty easily but honestly it was sheer luck as a lot of time I could not see the boss. There's a gazillion commands, and various ways to use them.

 

The game is really fun. The graphics are cute and well done, the music and sound are nice. So the issues are really annoying as it ruins reasonably the experience. It kinda sucks saying that most of the S-Ranks will be down to luck, but yes on the last 3 areas many of the levels will be down to that, as it does not matter how much skill and patience you're using, the game can just shit your run in a split second and no rioters S-Rank can be achieved.
